Sync Touchscreen and Tap List Screen

In order to use the Taproom Station as a touchscreen simultaneously with a second display screen, the two need to be synchronized. Otherwise, the place you touch on the screen will not correspond to where the screen is actually "clicked".

NOTE: This has to be done each time the Taproom Station is started!

JUMP TO STEP:

STEP 1 - OPEN A TERMINAL

STEP 2 - MAP TO OUTPUT

STEP 3 - CLOSE TERMINAL

STEP 1 - OPEN A TERMINAL

Attach a mouse and keyboard to the USB inputs on the Taproom Station, then open a terminal by clicking the square black icon at the top left on the menu bar.

STEP 2 - MAP TO OUTPUT

Enter the following in the terminal and hit Enter:

xinput

On the left side of the terminal, look for 'raspberrypi-ts'. Look to the right of that to get the id#.

Enter the following in the terminal and hit Enter:

(replace 'id#' with the id# you found)

xinput map-to-output id# DSI-1

(For example: if id = 6)

xinput map-to-output 6 DSI-1

STEP 3 - CLOSE TERMINAL

Close the terminal. The location of each touch should now correspond to the correct place on the screen.
