IMPORTANT!

Before we get into the new features, there's one change that needs special attention:

In this update, the "Days In Cellar" (DIC) value has been replaced by "Days In Keg" (DIK).

DIC kept track of the time between the keg date and the on tap date (How long has the entire batch been in the cellar before a particular keg was tapped?). DIK is a more useful metric that keeps track of the total number of days beer has been in a particular keg.

The screen shot below shows that all 13 kegs of Blackheart that are in the cellar have been in kegs for 31 days.

The screenshot below shows that the beer on Tap 2 has been in the keg for a total of 17 days.

Export Data

You can now export Cellar and Log data to csv files. Set a default export location where the files will be saved. You can open the csv files in a spreadsheet editor such as Excel.

When exporting Log data, you can choose to export all data, or choose any year, month, or day. This makes running yearly, monthly, or daily reports very easy.

Daily Report Selection

We've made it easier to select and run daily reports. Simply select a date from the drop-down to run a report. Only dates with applicable data are shown.

Quick Re-Tap

After you mark a tap as empty (AND there are more kegs of the same batch in the cellar) you will be prompted to re-tap. Simply click Yes to re-tap with a new keg from the same sub-batch. You can also set the date when this re-tap occurred (if other than the current day).

Manual Tap & Empty Dates

You now have the option to manually choose the date for when you tap or empty a keg. Use this option if you tapped or emptied a keg on some other date prior to the current day. By default, Choose Date is un-checked.

When tapping a new keg, check Choose Date, then click Tap It!

A prompt will appear where you can manually choose a tap date.

You can do the same when emptying a keg.
