Do you want to invert (rotate 180°) the screen on your Keg Punk Taproom Station? Maybe you want to mount it differently but the screen would be upside down?
No....turning the touchscreen and expecting it to automatically rotate is not gonna work. Instead, follow a few simple steps below. You will need a keyboard, and a mouse is handy if you have one.
ACCESS THE CONFIG FILE
Attach a mouse and keyboard to the USB inputs, then open a terminal by clicking the square black icon at the top left on the menu bar.
Enter the following in the terminal and hit Enter:
sudo nano /boot/config.txt
This opens the config file
ADD ROTATE COMMAND (OR REMOVE IF ROTATING BACK)
Add the following as the first line in the file (or remove if rotating back). You may need to hit "Enter" to add a new blank line to make the addition.
On your keyboard
To save changes, hit "Ctrl x"
To confirm, hit "y"
Then hit "Enter"
This should take you back to the terminal.
Enter the following in the terminal and click "Enter" to reboot your Pi.
When your Pi boots back up, it should have rotated the screen 180°.
