Homebrewing can be an expensive venture, involving regular purchases of ingredients and consumables, like propane and CO2 - to more infrequent, but costlier purchases, such as a new kettle or chest freezer.
While you can track these expenses using a spreadsheet or simply referring to your bank statement, it's easier and more informative to compile your spending into a centralized, purpose-built application, such as Beer Cashier.
Designed For speed & Simplicity
Beer Cashier is a simple, desktop-based application designed for fast logging of all of your brewing expenses. The app makes good use of predictive autofill and keyboard short-cuts to make entry a snap. Although entries are done manually, Beer Cashier takes steps to improve the ease of entry the more you use it.
The app divides your spending into three groups: Ingredients, Equipment, and Consumables. Items you save to a group can be further organized into categories. Each group has it's own dedicated tab within the app where you can add, edit, copy, and delete items.
As you input expenses, Beer Cashier generates useful reports that summarize the raw data into informative graphics. See where your spending went and when. Use the drop down box to view the data by year, and toggle totals by month or group.
Beer Cashier is designed to work for both individuals and teams of brewers. As you enter items, specify a purchaser to help track who bought what. You can view a summarized report that breaks spending down by purchaser and month, making "evening up" a breeze.
