Add a New Sub-Batch to the Cellar
Depending on how your brewery operates, you may not keg an entire batch all at once. For example, you may keg half of the batch one day, and the other half on the next day. Keg Punk allows you to create new Sub-Batches for each kegging run. Before you continue, it's important to know how Keg Punk organizes everything.

Cellar Organization
Keg Punk organizes your cellar using three important terms:
Beer. This is the recipe.
Batch. This is an iteration of a beer. You assign a custom batch ID to each batch.
Sub-Batch. This is an individual kegging run of a batch.
What is a sub-batch?
A sub-batch is an individual kegging run from a batch. In the image below, Batch B is kegged into two different types of kegs. Each group of kegs is a sub-batch. If you don't keg the entire batch at once, you can come back later and create sub-batches as you keg more from the batch.
Each sub-batch is assigned a Sub-Batch ID in parenthesis.
Sub-Batch Name = Beer Name + Batch ID + (Sub-Batch ID)

1 - Select an Existing Sub-Batch
To add a new Sub-Batch, click any existing Sub-Batch from the same batch you are kegging from. The New Sub-Batch button will activate. Click to bring up the New Sub-Batch interface.

2 - Sub-Batch Info & Kegging

Input Date
The input date is the day you put the kegs in the cooler. For a brewery this would be the day you keg the sub-batch. For a bar, this would be the day you get an order of kegs from the distributor.
Kegging
In the Kegging section, select the type of keg (or kegs, if you're creating multiple Sub-Batches) and how many of each. Each type of keg you check will create it's own unique Sub-Batch.
3 - Saving
After clicking Save, you'll see the new Sub-Batch in the Cellar listbox. It will automatically be given a unique Sub-Batch ID like the others.
